![]() and for some reason there was a copy of my CvS2 file on the card. At least I didn't lose F-Zero GX (because it couldn't be transferred it had to stay on the 251) and some of the files from my most recent Skies of Arcadia game, though. (If the card is indeed unrecoverable I lost so many save files though, going back all the way to when I got the system at launch. That card is fine, which means that instead of losing ALL of my saves for all of my Gamecube games, I lost only maybe 75% of them. I have two other cards, the 59 I got at launch and haven't used in years (it's blank now evidently, I wonder if it erased itself because of not being plugged in for too long or if I deleted everything and don't remember?), and a 251 that I kept plugged into slot 2. Second, I've had the card since I got it new shortly after the 1019 cards were released in 2003 or 2004 or whenever it was. I heard recently of the 'Wiis overheating 1019s and corrupting them' issue, but if this card has ever been in a Wii it was months ago or more, I'm just talking about the GC. So, first: I'm talking about the Memory Card 1019, played on a Gamecube, not a Wii. This was a couple of days ago, but nothing has changed, the card seems to be completely corrupt and it asks me to format it. The Gamecube's plugged into a surge protector as well, the same one my computer is plugged into, so I doubt there was any power problem. (Note - I had not turned off the system in this period, and hadn't removed the card either. So I got Super Monkey Ball 2 used a few days ago, started playing, saved (it saved fine), kept playing, saved again, and it said that my card was corrupt.
